Multiple WWE Debuts Set For 205 Live

Two new WWE Superstars made their debuts at this week's 205 Live tapings. 

WWE, as usual, taped 205 Live ahead of Tuesday's edition of NXT. Former EVOLVE stars Harlem Bravado (now Andre Chase) and Joe Gacy both made their WWE TV tapings during the show.

Chase went one on one with Guru Raaj, who previously faced Finn Balor at WWE Superstar Spectacle. Gacy squared off with Desmond Troy, a wrestler who appeared on Raw and SmackDown in early 2020 and was later used as an enhancement talent on NXT. 

While not confirmed, the bouts look to be qualifying matches for the upcoming NXT Breakout Tournament. WWE revealed the tournament would be returning earlier this week and the competition will begin on July 13. The winner will receive a title shot for the NXT championship of their choosing.

The first edition of the NXT Breakout Tournament took place in 2019 and featured the likes of Bronson Reed, Cameron Grimes, Isaiah "Swerve" Scott and Dexter Lumis, all of which have gone on to become featured Superstars on the black and gold brand.
