Name Of Sheamus' WWE Faction Revealed
Sheamus' group has a name
The name of Sheamus' WWE faction with Butch and Ridge Holland has been revealed.
It was announced on the Friday, May 20 edition of SmackDown that the group were named The Brawling Brutes in a match graphic that stated they will take on The New Day's Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston, and a mystery partner on the May 27 show.
It initially appeared the faction would be called 'The Bloody Brutes' following a WWE trademark filing on May 12 but the company opted to go with Brawling Brutes instead. As of the time of writing, WWE have yet to trademark 'Brawling Brutes.'
The Brawling Brutes has shaken shape in recent months after Sheamus and Ridge Holland initially started teaming together in late 2021. They were then joined by Butch in March 2022, who lost his Pete Dunne name upon debuting on the main roster.
The faction has been feuding with The New Day in recent months and their programme featured a WrestleMania 38 match in which Sheamus and Ridge Holland defeated Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston.
