Naomi Announced For Non-WWE Appearance

Naomi Has Been Announced For A Non-WWE Convention Appearance

Naomi (Trinity Fatu) hasn’t been seen on WWE programming since all the way back in May of 2022 before walking out of the company alongside her tag team partner at the time, Sasha Banks (now Mercedes Moné). Her future with the promotion is still unclear, though she has been announced for a non-WWE appearance.

The WrestleCon convention is set to take place on April 1 and April 2 on WrestleMania weekend, and Naomi was announced as someone who would be appearing. Notably, IWGP Women’s Champion Mercedes Moné is set to appear at the event too.

It should be noted that WrestleCon have deleted their original tweet which announced Naomi for the event, so it isn’t quite confirmed whether or not she will actually end up being there, and if her potentially still being under WWE contract will get in the way of an appearance. If she does indeed show up, then it will mark her first wrestling-related appearance for nearly a year. Earlier this week, it was noted that Naomi is recovering from shoulder surgery, which could be halting a potential WWE return.
