Report: Top Prospect Evaluating Their Options Following AEW Contract Offer

A top prospect has received multiple offers

A top prospect within professional wrestling has attracted plenty of interest.

EJ Nduka has been a free agent since exiting Major League Wrestling earlier this year. The 34-year-old made his debut in All Elite Wrestling shortly after, losing to Konosuke Takeshita at the promotion's Dark taping from Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida on January 28.

Reports indicated following that match that AEW offered Nduka a contract and Fightful Select has confirmed that was the case. They could not confirm that Nduka had accepted the deal and they instead heard Nduka has been "evaluating his options."

One of those options is WWE and Nduka has been in contact with the company, although the level of contact is unknown. Former Senior Vice President of Talent Operations & Strategy James Kimball was said to be helpful in reaching out to prospects and there has been some adjustments in that area since he was fired in February.

Nduka was previously a developmental talent in WWE from August 2019 until he was released in May 2021. He performed in the organisation as Ezra Judge but never made it to NXT TV.

AEW also aren't the only company to offer Nduka a deal and he has been offered a contract by a promotion in Mexico. There is heavy interest in Nduka from Japan too.
