Report: AEW Offers Contract To Former WWE Talent

Could AEW add a former WWE talent to their roster?

All Elite Wrestling have reportedly offered a contract to a former WWE developmental talent.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Tony Khan's promotion offered a deal to EJ Nduka following his recent match against Konosuke Takeshita on Dark. It is unknown if Nduka has put pen to paper on a contract with All Elite Wrestling, however.

Nduka made his AEW debut at the organisation's Dark taping on January 28. He had a competitive match with Konosuke Takeshita that saw the Japanese star pick up the win.

The 34-year-old had recently been signed to Major League Wrestling but he finished up with the promotion earlier this year. He and Calvin Tankman were MLW World Tag Team Champions but they dropped the belts to Juicy Finau and Lance Anoa'i at Blood & Thunder.

Nduka was also formerly a WWE developmental talent as Ezra Judge from August 2019 until his release in May 2021. He hadn't made his NXT TV debut at the time of his release but it was considered a surprise that WWE let Nduka go due to his physical attributes.

Recent reports noted that WWE had "expressed some interest" in re-signing Nduka and promotions in Japan were said to be interested in booking him.
