Naomi Returns To WWE At Royal Rumble

As expected, Naomi made her return to WWE in the women's Royal Rumble match.

Naomi entered the women's Royal Rumble at #2, beginning the match with Natalya. The former SmackDown Women's Champion was immediately emotional following the thunderous reaction to her return. She was able to survive for almost an hour but Naomi was eventually eliminated by Jade Cargill after Naomi was used to kick Becky Lynch out of the ring. 

Naomi began her WWE career all the way back in 2009 and she became a two-time SmackDown Women's Champion and one-time WWE Women's Tag Team Champion with Sasha Banks (AKA Mercedes Moné). She exited the company in May 2022 after Naomi and Mercedes Moné walked out of a taping of Monday Night Raw over a creative dispute with Vince McMahon.

Naomi then signed with TNA Wrestling as Trinity in March 2023. She enjoyed a successful run with the promotion, becoming the TNA Knockouts World Champion at Slammiversary. Trinity held the belt for 182 days before losing it to Jordynne Grace at Hard To Kill on January 13. Trinity then finished up with TNA one week later at the promotion's Orlando tapings.

Jordynne Grace was another surprise entrant in the Women's Royal Rumble and the two rivals shared a moment, embracing before pummelling each other in the face.
