Naomi will be off WWE TV for the foreseeable future, as it was announced on Monday Night Raw that she and husband Jimmy Uso were expecting their first child together.

Naomi's pregnancy was revealed in a clip of What's Your Story? that aired on Raw, and the Women's World Champion proceeded to cut an in-character promo on Raw, vacating the Women's World Title in the process. Naomi ended the promo by noting she planned to return in nine months to regain her title and that whoever is champion should proceed with caution.

The full episode of What's Your Story? aired following Raw and Naomi revealed on the podcast with Stephanie McMahon that she discovered she was pregnant on Sunday, August 10 - one day before her scheduled match with IYO SKY on Raw.

"In my hotel room. Had been feeling a little different, a little weird. Just wanted to take a test to find out and make sure, kinda rule it out, not thinking because it's been a long journey with fertility issues that I've had. So yeah, I really just didn't think it was possible," Naomi said.

At this point, Naomi is seven weeks pregnant, and she has already heard her baby's heartbeat. Due to her pregnancy being high-risk, the 37-year-old is going to have more regular checkups.

The former Women's World Champion also discussed her past fertility issues, revealing that she underwent an oophorectomy over 10 years ago to have her right ovary removed. She also underwent surgery in 2020 to remove fibroids from her uterus.

Due to her medical history, Naomi believed it was unlikely she and Jimmy Uso would conceive a baby naturally.

"It was more intense and severe than they thought it was initially, and just the healing and also a lot of scar tissue so that also affected...the ability, on top of being older, I'm 37 now, and on top of only having one ovary, we thought for sure that naturally, I couldn't anymore," she added.

It was announced ahead of the August 11 episode of WWE Raw that Naomi was not medically cleared for her Women's World Title match with IYO SKY, with reports noting soon after that she would be out of action for a long time.

Naomi had been Women's World Champion since cashing in her Money in the Bank contract at Evolution. She successfully defended the title against Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY at SummerSlam and ultimately vacated the belt after 36 days.
