Natalya Comments On Undergoing Surgery, WWE To Give Update On Monday
The Women's Tag Team champion suffered the injury during Raw

WWE Women's Tag Team champion Natalya revealed that she needs surgery for an ankle injury she sustained during a tag team match on this past Monday's episode of WWE Raw.
Natalya tweeted, "Today my surgeon told me that I’m an anomaly. It’s been an intense week to say the least. All I asked was to be put back in the fight and FAST. Surgery will fix me, defending our championships will drive me."
WWE commented that there will be an update on Natalya on Monday's episode of Raw.
No timetable has yet been offered for Natalya's return to the ring. Dave Meltzer wrote in the Wrestling Observer that the expectation is that she may miss only a few weeks.
The injury occurred when Natalya was in the ring with Doudrop. During one spot, Natalya's ankle simply gave way, leading to her tagging in Tamina, who finished the rest of the match. Natalya was then helped to the locker room.
Alongside Tamina, Natalya has reigned as one half of the Women's Tag Team champions since the May 14 episode of SmackDown, when they defeated titleholders Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler.
