NCAA Champion Gable Steveson Reveals Talks With WWE

Steveson has previously tweeted about working with Brock Lesnar

NCAA Champion Gable Steveson says he has held talks with a number of officials from WWE, including Triple H and Paul Heyman, and is interested in pursuing a career with the company.

Steveson, the reigning NCAA Division I National Champion and a two-time Big Ten Conference champion, took to social media on Sunday to suggest he had a 'big announcement' to make before Tweeting hours later he would be 'the biggest star WWE has ever had'.

The 20-year-old has since told Fightful Select that he has spoken to Paul Heyman and Triple H in WWE and, while things are up in the air as he's focused on the Olympics, he has a desire to wrestle in WWE.

Steveson also suggested that, while he's aware All Elite Wrestling is emerging and developing, he only has eyes on pursuing a career with WWE when it comes to wrestling.

Football is also an option for Steveson, who also confirmed he would be open to trying a career in MMA and UFC should the opportunity arise.
