Netflix To Become Home Of All WWE Content In The UK

No more WWE Network in the United Kingdom from 2025

WWE's new deal with Netflix has major implications for professional wrestling fans in the United Kingdom.

WWE announced today that Monday Night Raw will exclusively air on Netflix in the United States, United Kingdom, and other countries from January 2025. In addition, though, Netflix will become the home of SmackDown, NXT, and WWE premium live events in the United Kingdom and other territories. WWE documentaries, original series, and upcoming projects will be available on Netflix internationally from 2025 too.

The Netflix deal effectively ends the WWE Network, the company's streaming service that launched in 2014. WWE pay-per-views have aired on Peacock in the United States since 2021 but the WWE Network has continued to operate with a monthly price of $9.99 internationally, including in the UK.

The announcement also means that TNT Sports will be losing WWE Raw and SmackDown, with the current deal believed to be up at the end of 2024. NXT recently moved to the WWE Network from TNT Sports. The Netflix deal means WWE won't be on linear TV in the United Kingdom for the first time since the 1980s.
