Bobby Lashley says he would advice recently released WWE superstars to not burn their bridges with the company, saying a lot of talent became household names because of their time with the company.

Lashley himself was released by WWE back in 2008 after an initially impressive first run with the company. The All Mighty would then spend a significant period with IMPACT Wrestling before returning to WWE in 2018.

Now reigning on Monday Night Raw as the WWE Champion, Lashley believes it's important to not burn bridges with the promotion talent used to work for, and feels the very best talent will not be denied their opportunities.

Speaking with SportsKeeda Wrestling, when asked for his advice for recently released WWE talent, Lashley said: "Stay motivated. There was a couple guys who contacted me that were in WWE when I was out, and they asked, ‘What’s going on, man? Do you have any advice for me?'.

"I always told them, ‘If you’re good, your talent can’t be denied.’ That’s one, and two — never burn bridges. I think a lot of times people will leave the wrestling business or leave one organization and feel the need to badmouth them. I think that’s just ridiculous.

"I think every one of us made our name from the WWE, or in professional wrestling — in one sense or another — and made a lot of money.”
