Neville Reportedly No Longer Under Contract With WWE

The King of the Cruiserweights heading for pastures new...

According to a report from Pro Wrestling Sheet, Neville is no longer under contract with WWE.

The report states that details are scarce, but a source with direct access to the King of the Cruiserweights has confirmed the Geordie is no longer tied down to a WWE contract as of this moment. Pro Wrestling Sheet has also been unable to get a comment from WWE as to when Neville actually left the company, meaning it's unclear when the customary no-compete clause started or ends - or if there's one at all the deal with at this stage.

There have been sightings of the man who will presumably be known as Pac soon enough in and around his hometown of Newcastle, England in recent times. Just yesterday, a reddit user claimed to have seen Neville at the Freeman Hospital where he was looking "jacked," baby. While a pal of our own Sam Driver saw the former Cruiserweight Champion having a whale of a time at a massive trampoline park in the city a few short months ago.

The last rumour to spread all over the internet regarding Neville claimed he was speaking to WWE again ahead of a post-WrestleMania 34 return. I'm sure we'll learn in the coming months if that did actually happen or not, but surely WWE did all they could to get not only one of the best characters we've seen on their programming in recent times, but one of the best professional wrestlers on the planet back into work and happy once again.

The beginning of the end for the Englishman occurred when he reportedly walked out on the company before an episode of Raw last October, after learning that he would be losing to Enzo Amore.

Everyone at Cultaholic certainly wishes Neville well with whatever he has in store next - and if you fancy an appearance on Straight To Hell, bonny lad, giz a bell, m8!
