Report: New AEW Show To Be Revealed Later This Week

New AEW show coming soon?

All Elite Wrestling are set to reveal a new show.

According to Fightful Select, a pilot for a new AEW-related programme with Warner Bros. Discovery that will air on social media channels is set to be announced later this week. Few details are known about the show but it will not be a reality series similar to AEW All Access.

All Elite Wrestling and Warner Bros. Discovery have worked closely together since the promotion's founding in 2019 and they have only continued to expand their relationship in recent years, with AEW Dynamite, Rampage, and Collision airing across TBS and TNT. Battle of the Belts specials are also produced and air on TNT, while AEW All Access aired in 2023.

AEW's United States media rights deal with WBD is set to expire at the end of 2024 and the announcement of a new deal, according to Fightful, is expected to be kept close to the vest. An announcement in the Summer or Autumn is more likely than the WBD Upfronts this week. Both sides are currently still in the exclusive negotiating window and that will continue into the Summer.

As part of a new deal, AEW pay-per-views could air on Max, with WBD said to be interested in adding All Elite Wrestling's major shows to the streaming service.
