New AEW Women's World Title Unveiled At Revolution

Big gold belt

For the second time in less than a year, All Elite Wrestling introduced a new AEW Women's World Championship belt.

The new belt, pictured above, was unveiled ahead of champion Britt Baker's title defence against Thunder Rosa at the Revolution pay-per-view on Sunday. Along with its gold plates, the new belt includes a map of the world with North America at its centre.

The new title belt was designed by Belts By Dan, who has worked on championships for AEW previously as well as New Japan Pro-Wrestling and WWE.

Sunday was the third time the AEW Women's World Title has been redesigned. Riho initially won the much smaller inaugural version back in October 2019 on the first episode of Dynamite and a slightly larger edition of the belt was unveiled to celebrate Hikaru Shida's one-year reign as champion in 2021.

Britt Baker was ultimately the woman who walked away with the new gold belt at Revolution. Thunder Rosa scored both a visual pin and tap out on The Good Doctor but interference from Rebel and Jamie Hayter allowed Baker to retain following a second stomp.
