NJPW New Japan Cup 2022 Day 2 Results

New Japan Cup continues

The first round of the 2022 edition of the New Japan Cup continued on Sunday, March 6, from Fukushima, Japan.

While the bulk of the first round matches took place on March 2, three more bouts were held on Sunday with the likes of Will Ospreay, Zack Sabre Jr., and Aaron Henare in action.

It was a rough day to be an NJPW referee as three officials were taken out during Ospreay's match with BUSHI before The Commonwealth Kingpin picked up the win with a Hidden Blade.

The first round of matches will conclude on March 7 before the second round begins on March 9.
