New Champion Crowned At WWE Elimination Chamber

A New Champion On The Road To WrestleMania 36...

WWE held its last stop on the road to WrestleMania 36 last night as the Elimination Chamber took place at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Three championships were on the line as Andrade defended the United States Championship against Humberto Carrillo, The Street Profits faced Seth Rollins and Murphy for the Raw Tag Team titles and Braun Strowman took on Cesaro, Shinsuke Nakamura and Sami Zayn in a Three On One Handicap match for the Intercontinental title.

Ultimately, both Andrade and The Street Profits were able to retain their championships, which meant Strowman had to successfully defend his title to ensure a clean sweep for the champions. However, the teamwork of Zayn, Nakamura and Cesaro proved too much for The Monster Among Men as his first singles title reign in WWE came to an end after 37 days.

The beginning of the finish came when Strowman charged towards Cesaro, but The Swiss Cyborg managed to move out the way, sending the champion crashing into the ring post. Cesaro then distracted the referee, which provided the opening Nakamura needed to deliver a vicious Kinshasa to Strowman. With the former Mr. Money In The Bank down and out, Cesaro tagged in Zayn and the three stable mates worked together to deliver their Double Suplex, Helluva Kick combo. The Underdog From The Underground then covered Strowman for the 1-2-3 to win his first championship on the main roster.
