WWE Elimination Chamber 2020 Results From Philadelphia

Two Chamber matches and more on the Road to WrestleMania...

The final pay-per-view stop on the road to WrestleMania 36 took place in Philadelphia on Sunday night, with two Chamber bouts (one with direct WrestleMania implications), and several title matches.

Kickoff match: The Viking Raiders def. Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins in 4:41

Little more than a basic TV-style match, with little doubt who was going to win. The Raiders went wild after the final tag, brutalizing Ryder, before Erik pinned him following the Viking Experience.

Daniel Bryan def. Drew Gulak by technical submission in 14:47

The former kings of Ring of Honor and Combat Zone Wrestling got one hell of a showcase in Philadelphia, with a few genuinely terrifying moments in which Bryan landed hard on throwing suplexes. Lots of hard strikes and excellent technical wrestling here, as Bryan wriggled free from a dragon sleeper and maneuvered Gulak into the Yes Lock, drawing a stoppage due to Gulak passing out.

WWE United States: Andrade def. Humberto Carrillo in 12:37

Another excellent match, one that really got the crowd more invested the longer it went. Andrade was aggressive early, trying to avenge the concrete DDT. Each kicked out of big moves, including Andrade from a top rope rana, and Humberto from the corner charging knees. In the end, both men exchanged a frenetic series of pin attempts, before Carrillo got a victory roll, but Andrade rolled back and pulled the tights to retain the belt.

Elimination Chamber match for the SmackDown Tag Team titles: John Morrison and The Miz def. The Usos, The New Day, Heavy Machinery, Bobby Roode and Dolph Ziggler, and Lucha House Party in 32:57

Lots of wild stunts in the match, including Lince Dorado hitting a swinging shooting star press from the top of the Chamber onto a horde of wrestlers. At one point, Otis charged Ziggler, who moved away, causing Otis to bulldoze his way through the pod and out of the Chamber altogether. In order, Otis pinned Gran Metalik with the Compactor, Roode pinned Tucker with the Glorious DDT, The Usos pinned Ziggler and Roode with stereo splashes, Morrison and Miz pinned Kingston after a missed splash from the Chamber, and Miz and Morrison pinned Jimmy Uso after a tandem pinning combo while using the ropes.

No Disqualification match: Aleister Black def. AJ Styles in 23:14

Despite being no DQ, Gallows and Anderson stood at ringside doing nothing, when they could've theoretically ended the match much earlier. A kendo stick, chair, and table all got used, the latter of which used when Black hit a Meteora off an announce table, putting Styles through. Gallows and Anderson finally interfered late, but as they set Black up for the finish, Undertaker's "Gong" hit. The lights went out and when they came back on, Undertaker had both Gallows and Anderson by the throat. He ended up chokeslamming Styles before vanishing, leaving Styles to fall victim to Black Mass.

Raw Tag Team titles: The Street Profits def. Seth Rollins and Murphy in 18:33

Formula tag match for a while, until AOP sent Montez Ford flying into the barricade. This brought out The Viking Raiders, who brawled with AOP to the back. It felt like a whole new match after run-in, building to a big spot where Rollins powerbombed both Profits on a Tower of Doom. Kevin Owens came down through the crowd eating popcorn late, and sat on the Spanish announce table, before throwing popcorn in Rollins' face. Dawkins then took Rollins out, and Murphy was pinned following the Cash Out. Owens gave Rollins a stunner afterward, then dropped popcorn all over the fallen Murphy.

WWE Intercontinental/Handicap match: Sami Zayn, Cesaro, and Shinsuke Nakamura def. Braun Strowman in 8:54 (Zayn wins the Intercontinental title)

The heels managed to ground Strowman early, the sheer highlight Zayn's crazed laughter.. Soon enough, Strowman began dominating all three, with Nakamura and Cesaro falling victim to the ringside shoulder charges (Cesaro went flying into the front row off of his). The story was Strowman obsessing with getting at Zayn, and paying for it, as a corner Kinshasa led to Strowman being pinned by Zayn after the double suplex/Helluva kick combo. The title marks Zayn's first championship on the main roster.

Elimination Chamber match to determine number one contender for Becky Lynch's Raw Women's title: Shayna Baszler def. Asuka, Ruby Riott, Sarah Logan, Liv Morgan, and Natalya in 20:58

Logan was the first to be eliminated, tapping to the Kirifuda Clutch of Baszler, almost immediately after Baszler entered the match fourth. Seconds later, Riott met the same fate. Natalya was then eliminated about 90 seconds later, after Baszler used one of the pod doors to beat her senseless, before slapping on the Kirifuda Clutch. Morgan finally entered and was summarily beaten to a pulp, passing out to the Kirifuda Clutch while Baszler sat on the turnbuckle in front of Asuka's pod. Asuka entered last and put up the best fight out of everyone before getting snared in the Kirifuda Clutch and passing out.
