New Champions To Be Crowned On AEW Collision

AEW Collision will see new champions crowned

All Elite Wrestling are set to crown new champions, with a vacant championship set to be filled on the upcoming July 20 edition of AEW Collision.

On the July 13 edition of Collision, AEW executive Christopher Daniels stripped Bullet Club Gold of the unified AEW Trios Championships, after Juice Robinson attempted to sub in for an injured Jay White, with Daniels maintaining that the ‘Freebird rule’ was not in place for the belts.

The re-registered Bang Bang Gang team of Robinson and The Gunns are set to challenge for the vacant belts on July 20, when they take on the Patriarchy team of Christian Cage, Nick Wayne, and Killswitch.

White was taken out of commission by an enraged Hangman Page during their Owen Hart Foundation Tournament match in early July, and the stripping of the Bang Bang Gang as trios champs saw their reign end after 83 days, having defeated The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn for the AEW Trios Titles and unifying them with the ROH Six-Man Tag Team Championships at AEW Dynasty on April 21.

Confirmed for AEW Collision - July 20, 2024:

  • Christian Cage, Killswitch, & Nick Wayne vs. Juice Robinson, & The Gunns - AEW Unified Trios Championships
  • Deonna Purrazzo vs. Thunder Rosa - Lumberjack Match
  • Skye Blue vs. Hikaru Shida
  • Holo.grm debuts
