New Match Added To WWE Royal Rumble 2019

And it comes from SmackDown Live...

The 2019 WWE Royal Rumble takes place on Sunday, January 27 at Chase Field in Pheonix, Arizona and a fourth match has been added to the card today.

The latest bout announced for the first of WWE's fabled Big Five of 2019 will see new SmackDown Live Women's Champion Asuka defend her title against former champ Becky Lynch. At the time of writing, the match is merely a singles contest, but, of course, the card is always subject to change.

The match certainly raises a few eyebrows and it was heavily anticipated within the WWE Universe that Becky would win the women's Rumble match and then go on to challenge Ronda Rousey for the Raw Women's Championship at WrestleMania 35. Does this now mean Ronda will be moved to SmackDown before 'Mania season gets into full swing? Only time will tell...

The rest of the Rumble card as of right now is made up by the men's and women's Rumble matches, and Braun Strowman vs. Brock Lesnar for The Beast's Universal Championship.
