The 2019 Royal Rumble pay-per-view takes place on Sunday, January 27 from Chase Field in Pheonix, Arizona.

The card for the event is shaping up quite nicely, and just last night, another match was added from the SmackDown Live side of the roster - although it wasn't mentioned on this week's show whatsoever.

United States Champion, Rusev, will be defending his newly (ish) won title against foe and former champion, Shinsuke Nakamura.

Neither man appeared on this week's SmackDown Live, which was rather surprising given what happened last week. Nakamura, hiding behind a crate backstage, attacked Rusev and left him laying on the floor.

This all followed on from a segment two weeks ago that saw the King of Strong Style attack the Bulgarian Brute in the ring. Lana jumped on the back of Nakamura in an attempt to stop the attack but ended up getting injured after a Rusev Machka Kick saw Nakamura land 'on top' of her.

As things stand, here is the updated card for Royal Rumble 2019:
