New Match Announced For Keiji Muto's Retirement Show

NJPW talents in action on Keiji Muto's final show

Keiji Muto's final match inside the squared circle continues to draw closer and Keiji Muto Grand Final Pro-Wrestling 'Last' Love ~Hold Out~ is set to take place at the Tokyo Dome on February 21.

Muto's match at the show has yet to be revealed but Pro Wrestling NOAH announced that Bullet Club's Taiji Ishimori and Gedo will be in action on the card to take on NOSAWA Rongai and Mazada. Rongai has claimed he is also retiring on February 21.

Gedo has competed in Pro Wrestling NOAH before and he is a former GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion. Ishimori, meanwhile, was a part of NOAH from 2006 until 2018 and he is a three-time GHC Junior Heavyweight Champion and six-time GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion.

Ahead of his retirement match, Keiji Muto will have one final match in New Japan Pro-Wrestling at Wrestle Kingdom 17 when he teams with Hiroshi Tanahashi and Shota Umino against Tetsuya Naito, SANADA, and BUSHI. Muto will also face WWE's Shinsuke Nakamura on January 1 in a Pro Wrestling NOAH ring.
