New Match Set For AEW Dynasty 2026

A new match has been added to AEW Dynasty on April 12 2026, with implications for the men’s AEW World Title picture.

As seen on the April 1 edition of AEW Dynamite, Darby Allin stated his intentions of becoming AEW World Champion, and called out champion MJF, only to be greeted by Don Callis and The Family. Callis relayed a message to Allin, stating that if he could defeat a hand-picked member of The Family then he could receive a title shot.

Callis then revealed that Allin will have to defeat Andrade el Idolo to earn a shot at MJF, with a visibly confused Andrade - looking like Frankie Four Fingers from Snatch - also seemingly finding out about the match at the same time as Darby.

Darby and Andrade have faced off in singles competition on two previous occasions, with their record standing at one win apiece. Darby won their last head-to-head, picking up victory in a coffin match on the April 20 2022 edition of Dynamite.
