Chris Jericho is back in All Elite Wrestling, and he may have signed a new deal with Tony Khan's promotion.

Jericho made his first appearance on AEW TV in one year on the April 1 episode of Dynamite from the inaugural AEW World Champion's hometown of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Jericho kept his appearance short as he interrupted the contract signing between MJF and Kenny Omega and simply announced to the Winnipeg crowd that he was home.

PWInsider has reported that the general belief backstage at AEW Dynamite was that Jericho and AEW came to terms on a new deal. Jericho's contract was originally scheduled to expire at the end of 2025 but reports noted the 55-year-old's deal was frozen after he took time off following the post-Dynasty 2025 episode of Dynamite.

PWInsider further reported that Jericho arrived at the building for Dynamite around two minutes before the show went on the air, and he went straight to the gorilla position.

After he returned to the back following his appearance, Jericho filmed additional content and took part in a photo shoot. The former leader of the Inner Circle, Jericho Appreciation Society, and the Learning Tree also introduced himself to talents backstage that he didn't know.
