New Matches Official For WWE SummerSlam

The WWE SummerSlam card is starting to fill out.

Following last night's episode of WWE Raw, three new matches have been made official for SummerSlam on August 5.

Logan Paul attacked Ricochet from behind on this week's show, before accepting his challenge to a match at the premium live event. Ricochet managed to fight Paul off towards the end of the segment. Elsewhere, another brawl took place between WWE Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER and Drew McIntyre - with the latter putting the champion through the announce table. A title match between the pair was later confirmed.

Finally, Shayna Baszler challenged Ronda Rousey to a bout at the upcoming show, stressing that it would be a "fight" more than a wrestling match. Rousey later accepted the challenge.

WWE SummerSlam is set to take place at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan. As well as the three above matches, the rest of the card is as follows:

  • Roman Reigns (c) vs. Jey Uso - Tribal Combat match for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship and the title of Tribal Chief
  • Asuka (c) vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Bianca Belair - WWE Women's Championship
  • Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar
  • Seth Rollins (c) vs. Finn Balor - World Heavyweight Championship
  • GUNTHER (c) vs. Drew McIntyre - Intercontinental Championship
