New Matches Set For NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 16 Day 2

Three new matches

Following the events of the January 4 Wrestle Kingdom 16 show, New Japan Pro-Wrestling have added three new matches to day two of Wrestle Kingdom. All three matches will take place on the pre-show, which begins at 7 am GMT/ 2 am ET. 

Former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Shingo Takagi will be in action on the final pre-show match, teaming with Los Ingobernables de Japon faction-mates Hiromu Takahashi and BUSHI against Dangerous Tekkers and DOUKI. TenCozy will also team with Master Wato against Suzuki-gun's El Desperado, Yoshinobu Kanemaru and TAKA Michinoku, while Tomoaki Honma, Togi Makabe and Yuji Nagata will take on Bad Luck Fale, Gedo and Jado in the opening pre-show match. 

The main event of the January 5 Wrestle Kingdom 16 show was also determined today following Kazuchika Okada's win over Shingo Takagi in their IWGP World Heavyweight Title match. The Rainmaker will defend the world championship against Will Ospreay in tomorrow's headline match.
