New Superstars Added To Men's & Women's WWE Royal Rumble Matches

Eight for the men, 10 for the women...

The WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view takes place on Sunday, January 27  from Chase Field in Phoenix, AZ and both the men's and women's Rumble matches are starting to take shape.

Over the weekend Jeff Hardy was confirmed to be in the men's match, while Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose were added to the women's.

Here is every name confirmed for both matches so far:

Confirmed for 2019 men’s Royal Rumble match:

  • R-Truth (#30)

  • Drew McIntyre

  • Xavier Woods

  • Big E

  • Kofi Kingston

  • Finn Balor

  • Seth Rollins

  • Jeff Hardy


Confirmed for the 2019 women's Royal Rumble match:

  • Carmella (#30)

  • Ember Moon

  • Natalya

  • Bayley

  • Sasha Banks

  • Ruby Riott

  • Liv Morgan

  • Sarah Logan

  • Sonya Deville

  • Mandy Rose


As for the rest of the card, we know that AJ Styles will be getting a shot at 'The New' Daniel Bryan's WWE Championship, and Braun Strowman will be facing Brock Lesnar with The Beast's Universal title on the line.

We also know that Asuka will be defending her SmackDown Live Women's Championship against the winner of Carmella vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch, and Buddy Murphy, Kalisto, Akira Tozawa and one other Cruiserweight will be fighting it out of the Cruiserweight title in a Fatal 4-Way.
