New Tag Team Champions Crowned at WWE NXT UK

A title change in London...

Pretty Deadly have won the NXT UK Tag Team Championships.

The duo - comprised of Lewis Howley and Sam Stoker - captured the gold from Wolfgang and Mark Coffey of Gallus on Thursday's edition of NXT UK, broadcast from BT Studios in London, England.

A fantastic tag-team match eventually saw the challengers get the victory, albeit by heel-ish tactics, to begin their first-ever run as NXT UK tag team champions.

Pretty Deadly are only the fourth team in history to win the NXT UK tag team straps and end Gallus' reign at 497 days. Wolfgang and Mark Coffey won the titles themselves from Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster all the way back on the 17 October 2019 episode of NXT UK.

Howley and Stoker made their NXT UK debuts back in 2019 before being signed full-time to the brand by WWE in early 2020.

A packed NXT UK show also saw Bailey Matthews, the son of William Regal, make his debut for the promotion in an impressive outing against Tyler Bates.
