New Tag Team Debuts On AEW Dynamite
They attacked Cody!
During last night's episode of Dynamite, Cody quickly defeated local competitor Matt Knicks. After the match, Cody cut a promo calling out MJF.
Before MJF got a chance to respond, Cody was blindsided by a masked man who emerged from under the ring.
The man attacked Cody before unmasking. AEW commentator Excalibur exclaimed "It's The Blade!". His partner, The Butcher, then emerged to attack The American Nightmare.
Their manager, Allie, clad in a bunny mask, appeared soon after. While they stood tall in the centre of the ring, AEW commentator Excalibur christened them: "The Butcher, The Blade, and The Bunny."
The Chicago crowd seemed to be as confused as Jim Ross during the segment. With the exception of a few small pockets of boos, the crowd remained largely silent. One man in the second row just sat on his phone through the whole attack.

Many wrestling fans are simply unaware of who the team actually are. The Butcher is former IMPACT Wrestling star Braxton Sutter, also known as Pepper Parks, while The Blade is Andy Williams, guitarist for hardcore punk band Every Time I Die.
While they wrestled sporadically in 2017 and 2018, they have increased their bookings in 2019, featuring prominently in the North American independent scene. The tag team have competed in matches against LAX, Jurassic Express, and The Rock "n" Roll Express. They also debuted for UK based PROGRESS Wrestling at their show in Toronto, Canada, where they were defeated in a triple threat match also featuring The Dark Order and Aussie Open..
