New Title Belts Revealed On AEW Dynamite
AEW Dynamite saw new title belts revealed
All In saw new champions crowned across the card, with the FTW Championship, the ROH World Tag Team Championships, the AEW Women’s World Championship, and the AEW Trios Championships all changing hands.
On the August 30 edition of AEW Dynamite, new Trios Champions The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn threw a celebration in honour of their hard-fought victory over The House of Black, unveiling special new ‘scissoring’ titles which the three will carry going forward.
The new titles have gold plates as opposed to the previous silver titles worn by The HOB, with the plates sat on salmon/pink straps. Each strap also has ‘Scissor Me Daddy Ass’ stitched into the leather, with each end of the belt featuring a set of appliqué scissors for added scissoring.
The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn are the fourth team to hold the titles since their introduction in September 2022. They follow in the footsteps of The Elite, Death Triangle, and the House of Black.
These aren’t the first custom title belts in AEW history, with MJF proudly rocking his ‘Triple B’ AEW World Championship since defeating Jon Moxley for the title at Full Gear 2022. There have also been several iterations of the TNT Championship.
