A new WWE signing has received their ring name.

WWE filed to trademark 'Saquon Shugars' on February 28 and the name has been given to Lucky Ali. WrestlingNews.co noted that Ali performed as Saquon Shugars at WWE's house show from Dade City, Florida on Friday, March 1. Shugars teamed with Joshua Black in a loss to Edris Enofe and Malik Blade.

The trademark filing for 'Saquon Shugars' was for the following purposes:

"Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports."

Lucky Ali signed with WWE in late 2023, having performed on the independent wrestling scene for the likes of DEADLOCK Pro Wrestling. He was also used as an enhancement talent on WWE Raw and AEW Dark in recent years. Ali has had three matches in total since signing with WWE, all at NXT house shows.

Another talent signed around the same time as Lucky Ali in Je'Von Evans has been impressing WWE officials.
