New WWE Talent To Become NXT Regular After Impressing Officials

WWE NXT wrestler to become regular after impressing management

WWE have added new talents to the NXT roster since the start of 2024 with Wren Sinclair and Je'Von Evans debuting on NXT TV, while Brogan Finlay made his WWE debut over the weekend at an NXT house show against Charlie Dempsey.

One of those talents in particular in Je'Von Evans has impressed WWE NXT officials at recent house shows, according to Fightful Select. Evans was featured in a backstage segment on the February 13 edition of NXT and he is expected to be a regular on NXT TV moving forward after impressing management.

Formerly known as Jay Malachi, Evans made his WWE debut at the February 6 taping of NXT Level Up in a losing effort to Brooks Jensen. Evans has since performed at four NXT house shows, twice losing to Luca Crusifino in singles action. He also teamed with Dion Lennox in a loss to No Quarter Catch Crew. Evans picked up his first win with Malik Blade, defeating Lucky Ali and Josh Black.

Je'Von Evans is only 20 years old and signed with WWE after a tryout in October 2023. Prior to that, Jay Malachi was a standout performer for DEADLOCK Pro Wrestling as the promotion's top champion.

Evans teamed with Malik Blade over the weekend after Blade's regular tag team partner, Edris Enofe, sustained a serious injury
