News On Injury Status Of Killswitch & Skye Blue

There were rumblings over the last week that AEW could be set to see the returns of two wrestlers who have been on the shelf for a while in the form of Killswitch (the former Luchasaurus) and Skye Blue. This stems from both claiming to be cleared to All Elite Talk’s Shane D.

Fightful Select have followed up on this and noted that although the pair might be cleared to compete by doctors, this is different from being cleared to compete by AEW. It is noted that those ‘familiar with their status’ claimed that they are certainly close to returning, but there was no direct timetable right now. In the case of Skye Blue, she was expected to be back around Spring, and that she was pushing for a quick return. For Killswitch, his double pneumonia diagnosis led to more uncertainty over a potential comeback, but late last year he noted that recovery was going well, crediting Tony Khan and AEW medical for saving his life.

In terms of creative plans, Fightful Select states that they haven’t heard anything for either of them.
