Next Contender For NXT Title Revealed
Who will face NXT Champion Bron Breakker?
Bron Breakker has taken on all-comers since regaining the NXT Championship in April, and as revealed on the November 15 edition of NXT, the ‘Puppy Faced Gremlin’ will have to focus on a brand new challenger.
Breakker successfully retained his title in victory over Von Wagner on NXT, and later in the show found out who he would be defending against next, when JD McDonagh and Apollo Crews went one-on-one in a ‘de facto’ number one contenders match.
Crews would get the victory, and would be greeted by Breakker holding his title aloft. No date has been given for when Breakker vs. Crews will happen, but with the first ever Iron Survivor match to determine a number one contender set to take place at NXT Deadline on December 10, then there’s every chance Breakker and Crews could throw down then.
Crew has only wrestled for the NXT Title on one other occasion, with a DQ win over then NXT Champion Finn Balor in October 2015.
