Next WWE Saudi Arabia PPV Set For September

WWE will return to Saudi Arabia in September following February’s Elimination Chamber

WWE are set to return to Saudi Arabia for a ‘premium live event’ in September, as part of WWE’s ongoing deal with the Gulf State.

The Wrestling Observer are reporting that WWE will be hosting an event in Saudi Arabia in September, with the suggestion being that WWE will produce TLC 2022 from Saudi Arabia.

WWE last promoted an event in Saudi Arabia in February 2022, taking the Elimination Chamber outside of North America for the first time in the gimmick’s history. Brock Lesnar won the WWE Championship at Elimination Chamber, another signifier that the WWE Saudi Arabia shows are now important as opposed to just glorified house shows.

The controversial relationship between WWE and Saudi Arabia began in 2018 and is set to run for 10 years, with the proposed show in September set to be the eighth of this partnership.

No date has been set yet for the September Saudi Arabia show, with WWE still believed to be running a UK ‘premium live event’ at the beginning of the month, with rumours suggesting it could run the same weekend as AEW All Out.
