Nic Nemeth's First TNA Match Announced

Nic Nemeth will be making his TNA in-ring debut tonight

Nic Nemeth, the former Dolph Ziggler, has been very busy in the last fortnight following the end of his no-compete clause after his WWE release. He first showed up at Wrestle Kingdom 18, facing off with brand new IWGP Global Heavyweight Champion David Finlay, setting up a match between the pair at the upcoming NJPW “New Beginning” event.

Last night, he made another impactful statement, debuting in the rebranded TNA Wrestling. The main event of last night’s Hard To Kill 2024 show saw Moose successfully cash in his “Feast or Fired” world title shot, defeating Alex Shelley to become the brand new TNA World Champion. Shortly afterwards, Nemeth’s name appeared on the tron, and he jumped Moose from behind, laying out the new champion.

Nemeth ran into the crowd, ripping off his shirt to showcase a TNA tank top, implying that he is there to stay. His first match with the promotion has already been announced, and it will take place at the Snake Eyes taping later today in Las Vegas, Nevado. Nemeth will be taking on Zachary Wentz of the Rascalz in singles action, marking his first ever match in the promotion and his first match full stop since leaving WWE.
