Nick Khan Told WWE Radio Hosts To Be Critical Of The Company

According to Busted Open Radio host Dave LaGreca, WWE President Nick Khan told the WWE Radio hosts to continue being critical of the company in their coverage while they were seated in the front row at SummerSlam.

"He said how much he enjoys it, how much he loves it and he doesn't want things to change, and then he pointed - he put his finger on my chest and pointed at me and said, 'You, especially you. I don't want you to change at all,' and then he used an example of somebody that he really enjoyed listening to that gave a little bit of shill radio and he just stopped listening, because it's not a product that you wanna listen to. The reason that they wanted to partner with us and the reason that they wanted to be a part of our (brand) is because they love what we do… I know people wanna say whatever they want and make any kind of opinions and judgments… What we do with our critical radio, it's not gonna change, nor should it and it won't," LaGreca said.

LaGreca has received criticism on social media, however, over saying that other pro wrestling companies should have seated Busted Open Radio front row for their events and named them during broadcasts, like WWE did at SummerSlam.

SiriusXM's Pro Wrestling Nation 24/7 was rebranded to WWE Radio on July 27 as part of a partnership between the station and WWE. Dave LaGreca claimed that nothing would change as part of the rebrand, only for things to immediately change as Busted Open Radio parted ways with AEW's Thunder Rosa and stopped covering All Elite Wrestling.
