Nikki Garcia (AKA WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella) has settled her divorce from husband Artem Chigvintsev.

TMZ reported that the couple went to mediation earlier this month and hashed out a settlement.

A source noted that they opted to go this route in order to move on quickly, as the process was both expensive and emotionally draining.

A representative for Garcia said:

"Nikki's number one priority has always been her son and privacy on the matter. She is thankful for all of the love and support she has received during this difficult time".

The former WWE Women's Champion filed for divorce after Chigvintsev was arrested for domestic violence in August. She was subsequently granted a restraining order against him, though prosecutors opted against filing criminal charges.

The settlement comes two weeks before their divorce trial was set to begin. A judge has ordered the pair to share custody of their four-year-old son Matteo, while Nikki moved to block the court's ability to award spousal support (something Chigvintsev was seeking).

Nikki and Brie Garcia's mother, Kathy Colace, divorced John Laurinaitis earlier this year after Laurinaitis was named as a defendant in the lawsuit filed by former WWE employee Janel Grant.
