Nikkita Lyons Provides Timeline For WWE NXT Return

When can we expect to see Nikkita back in action?

WWE NXT star Nikkita Lyons has provided an update on her injury status and given a rough timeline for her return.

During the February 21 edition of NXT, Lyons was being interviewed during a backstage segment with McKenzie Mitchell when she revealed she will be on the sidelines for 11 to 12 months as she recovers from ACL surgery.

She did note, however, that she aims to be back sooner than that.

Nikkita also added that she didn't know who attacked her in the parking lot on the January 24 episode of the show. The angle was done to explain her injury and absence, as well as to have a ready-made storyline for her when she does return.

Lyons was then interrupted by Tiffany Stratton, who said she was tired of her whining and that she should leave for a year and get better.

The 23-year-old last wrestled at the NXT Level Up taping on January 17, where she defeated Jakara Jackson. She underwent surgery to repair her torn ACL a couple of weeks later.
