Nikkita Lyons Reveals She Pitched A Finisher Name That Rhymes With 'Glam Slam' To WWE
What was the name of Nikkita Lyons' finisher?
Following her WWE NXT debut on the February 22 episode, Nikkita Lyons immediately went viral because of her finisher, in which she hit the splits on her opponent Kayla Inlay before the referee counted the 1-2-3 for the win.
Lyons has kept the move since then and has quickly cemented herself as one of the developmental brand's most popular talents. Her finisher is still without a name, though.
Speaking about the move on Out of Character with Ryan Satin, Lyons revealed she pitched a name for the finisher but she didn't think it was appropriate to say out loud.
"Yes, I have, but I don't know if I can say it out loud. I don't know if I should. I pitched, and they loved it, but they asked...they were like, 'probably not.' I'm actually in the process of trying to figure out something catchy, but also something people would love saying and something that could become a shirt. I'm in that process," she said.
Lyons then revealed the name she pitched rhymes with Beth Phoenix's 'Glam Slam' after she was asked which WWE legend's finishing move she would steal.
"Honestly, the Glam Slam, from Beth Phoenix. I look up to Beth Phoenix, very much. My idea for my split pin, rhymes with that, also. Her finish is awesome and I would be honoured if I was able to do that," the 22-year-old added.
