NJPW Castle Attack Cards Revealed

4 titles and 1 trophy will be on the line

With The New Beginning tour in the books, New Japan Pro-Wrestling announced the Castle Attack cards earlier today. The event will be held over two days on Saturday, February 27 and Sunday, February 28 at Osaka-Jo Hall. Day one will begin at 7 am GMT and day two will start at 5 am GMT.

Four championships will be defended on day two, including an IWGP Intercontinental Title match between Kota Ibushi and Tetsuya Naito. This will be the first time the white and gold belt has been solely defended since Wrestle Kingdom 14.

February 28: • TenCozy vs. Will Ospreay & Jeff Cobb • Toru Yano, Tomohiro Ishii & Kazuchika Okada vs. Chase Owens, Jay White & EVIL • Guerrillas Of Destiny (c) vs. YOSHI-HASHI & Hirooki Goto - IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championship• Hiroshi Tanahashi (c) vs. Great-O-Khan - NEVER Openweight Championship• Hiromu Takahashi (c) vs. El Phantasmo - IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship• Kota Ibushi (c) vs. Tetsuya Naito - IWGP Intercontinental Championship

The IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship will also be on the line on the February 25 Road To Castle Attack show at Korakuen Hall. El Phantasmo and Taiji Ishimori will defend the belts against Hiromu Takahashi and BUSHI.

The match came about after El Phantasmo challenged The Time Bomb to an IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title match. Takahashi accepted on the condition that ELP and Ishimori would defend the tag team championship against him and BUSHI first.
