NJPW Hyper Battle 2022 Card Revealed

New Japan Pro-Wrestling have announced the card for their Hyper Battle show and six championships will be on the line at the April 9 event from Sumo Hall. 

In the main event, Zack Sabre Jr. will challenge Kazuchika Okada for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship. ZSJ earned a title shot after he won the New Japan Cup on Sunday, March 27, defeating Tetsuya Naito in the final. 

This will be the second time Sabre has challenged for the IWGP World Heavyweight Title. He failed to defeat Shingo Takagi for the gold at Power Struggle 2021. 

Also set for Hyper Battle is an IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title match between champion El Desperado and SHO, and EVIL vs. Hiromu Takahashi for the NEVER Openweight Championship.
