NJPW New Japan Cup 2022 Day 3 Results

The New Japan Cup first round wrapped up today with a show from Ota City General Gymnasium in Tokyo, Japan. 

The final four first-round matches took place at the show, including Hiromu Takahashi vs. SHO and another battle between two of the best wrestlers in the world in Shingo Takagi and Tomohiro Ishii, only months on from their G1 Climax 31 clash. 

The winners of their respective matches advanced to the second round, which will run from March 9 until March 13.
