NJPW Returning To The UK For Royal Quest IV

NJPW announces Royal Quest IV

New Japan Pro-Wrestling will be returning to the United Kingdom later this year.

It was announced during the G1 Climax 34 final that NJPW will hold Royal Quest IV at the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre in London, England on Sunday, October 20. Zack Sabre Jr. has been announced for the event and tickets for Royal Quest IV go on sale on August 26 as part of a special presale.

NJPW held the first edition of Royal Quest in 2019 at the Copper Box Arena, with the show being headlined by an IWGP Heavyweight Title match between Kazuchika Okada and Minoru Suzuki. 2022's Royal Quest also took place at the Crystal Palace venue with FTR vs. Aussie Open for the IWGP Tag Team Titles. NJPW then returned to the Copper Box Arena in 2023 for a show headlined by Will Ospreay vs. Zack Sabre Jr. for the IWGP United Kingdom Championship.

Zack Sabre Jr. may walk into Royal Quest as IWGP World Heavyweight Champion on October 20. ZSJ won G1 Climax 34, defeating Yota Tsuji in the final, but Sabre has said he wants his shot at Tetsuya Naito at King of Pro-Wrestling on October 14 as opposed to Wrestle Kingdom 19 on January 4, 2025.
