NJPW's Jay White: I Am Still The Leader Of Bullet Club

A leader from the US

While Jay White hasn't performed in Japan since Wrestling Dontaku in May 2021, the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion still considers himself to be the leader of Bullet Club.

Following a question about his position in the faction from Sports Illustrated, White said: "Of course. I'm not in Japan, so if someone else thinks they'd do better, be my guest. But it's still mine, and there will come a day when people see that."

White has been the leader of Bullet Club since he defected from Chaos in 2018. There have been questions around White's position in the faction since he left Japan, though, particularly with EVIL's emergence in the group in 2020. The King Of Darkness has since founded the House Of Torture sub-group, however.

White will seemingly continue to lead Bullet Club from the United States as he told Sports Illustrated his goal in 2022 was to "make Strong exceed its potential." Switchblade is also advertised for the January 21 and January 22 IMPACT Wrestling TV tapings from Pembroke Pines, Florida.
