Shane Strickland Returning At Indy Wrestling Event In April

Back on the indies

Shane Strickland's first post-WWE booking has been revealed.

Sami Callihan's The Wrestling Revolver promotion announced during their January 16 'Once Upon A Time In Iowa' show that Strickland will return at 'Swerve's House' on April 16.

"REVOLVER RETURNS. APRIL 16. 'Swerve's House'. SHANE STRICKLAND IS BACK!" The Wrestling Revolver tweeted.

No opponent for Strickland's return match has been announced as of yet. Strickland previously performed for the promotion from 2017 until 2019.

Strickland then signed with WWE in April of 2019 and he performed in the company as Isaiah "Swerve" Scott. He spent much of his time on NXT and formed the popular faction Hit Row with Top Dolla, B-Fab and Ashante "Thee" Adonis in 2021 which resulted in them being called up to SmackDown in October. Strickland, along with his other Hit Row stablemates, were released by WWE in November of 2021, though, after only a few appearances on the main roster.

Before he joined WWE, Strickland was a popular wrestler on the indy scene for the likes of MLW and CZW. He also performed for Lucha Underground as Killshot.
