NJPW Star Teases A Move To WWE

One of NJPW's biggest names hasn't ruled out a move to WWE

David Finlay looks set for a big night at NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom 18, where he will challenge for the newly created IWGP Global Championship in a triple threat match with Will Ospreay and Jon Moxley. Looking ahead though, Finlay hasn’t ruled out a move to WWE down the line, and has even said that it comes up at the dinner table with his family.

Finlay spoke to Cultaholic’s Tom Campbell on the latest episode of Desert Island Graps, and revealed that his father Fit Finlay has tried to get him to dip his toes in the WWE water, and it is something that he may be interested in doing in the future.

“It's never been talked about officially, but on the other hand, about every other time I go over for dinner, it gets talked about because [Fit Finlay] is like ‘You know, you come work with me!’ When I've accomplished all I need to accomplish in Japan, maybe I'll entertain the option.”

You can listen to the interview on Cultaholic’s podcast feed where Tom and Finlay go through his Instagram, talk on Finlay’s ideas for a Bullet Club “UN-civil war”, and discuss three wrestling matches he would take with him if he were stranded on a desert island.
