NJPW, Stardom Reveal Name Of First-Ever Joint Card

Coming this November

New details have emerged regarding the first ever joint card featuring both New Japan Pro Wrestling and Stardom, which will take place on Sunday, November 20.

In a press release issued on Saturday, it was revealed that the card will be called Historic X-Over. There will also be mixed tag matches on the card, per the press release.

"With mixed tag matches, championship action and more besides, the top flight in both male and female wrestling will meet in Ariake, and the event title reflects just that," reads the release on NJPW's website.

Fan club members can purchase tickets for Historic X-Over beginning Thursday, August 18. General public sales will begin on Friday, September 23.

The event will take place at the Ariake Arena in Tokyo, which can seat at least 12,000 fans. The venue was built for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, and was primarily used for volleyball.

Bushiroad first announced the joint event all the way back on June 6. On Friday, it was revealed that the first ever IWGP Women's champion will be crowned at Historic X-Over.
