NJPW STRONG Women's Championship Unveiled

The NJPW Resurgence event is taking place today, with a tournament being held to crown the first ever NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship. In the Resurgence press conference yesterday, the design for the new belt was unveiled.

The title is essentially the exact same design as the men’s version of the championship, though the central plate is more golden that the men’s, and the strap is a pinky-purple colour. The first champion will be either the former IWGP Women’s World Champion Mercedes Moné, Willow Nightingale, Stephanie Vaquer or Momo Kohgo.
