After a one-year break, the Super Junior Tag League will return next month during the remainder of New Japan Pro-Wrestling's Summer Struggle tour.

New Japan announced today the 2021 edition of Super Junior Tag League will run from August 7 to August 17. Six teams will be involved in the round-robin tournament and the team with the highest points will be the winners. Tiebreakers will be at play, though, so a playoff match could be needed to decide the winners if two or more teams are tied at the end of August 17.

The teams in the tournament are as follows: • El Phantasmo & Taiji Ishimori - Current IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions• Roppongi 3K • El Desperado & Yoshinobu Kanemaru • Ryusuke Taguchi & Master Wato • Gedo & Dick Togo • Robbie Eagles & Tiger Mask

Who will walk away with the trophies remains to be seen. Roppongi 3K have an impressive pedigree in the Super Junior Tag League, though, having won the last three tournaments.
