While New Japan Pro-Wrestling's major shows in the United States have aired on NJPW World in Japanese and in English on FITE in recent months, that is set to change for Windy City Riot.

NJPW have announced the Chicago event on April 16 will be broadcast as a live pay-per-view on FITE with a price point of $19.99. The show will then be added to NJPW World at a later unspecified date.

No matches have been announced for Wind City Riot as of yet but the likes of Jon Moxley, Minoru Suzuki, Will Ospreay, Jay White, Jeff Cobb, Tomohiro Ishii, FinJuice, The Good Brothers, Great-O-Khan, Brody King and Yuji Nagata will be in action at the event.

Will Ospreay has been calling out Jon Moxley at recent NJPW shows in Japan and the former AEW World Champion responded earlier today, hinting at a match on April 16.

The Purveyor Of Violence hasn't performed for NJPW since he lost a Philadelphia Street Fight with Eddie Kingston against Suzuki-gun's Minoru Suzuki and Lance Archer in October of 2021. Moxley is also a two-time IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion and he has held the belt for a combined 694 days.
